Copyright free music for Kick

Copyright free music for Kick is allowed. The license covers livestreams on platforms like Kick, not only the names written on the homepage. Your stream, your footage, the track inside it. Monetized creator streams are included. Credit is optional.

Same limits as any other stream

Use the song for an open, a break, or a moment. Do not run a 24-hour station of the catalog. Do not upload the songs as VODs that are only the audio. Those are re-uploads, covered in can I reupload.

If a VOD is muted or a claim appears on a stream that followed the license, email the URL and the track name to arctaholic@gmail.com. Arctaholic will not be the one who filed against that use. A platform filter is a separate system.

Put the credit line in the About panel if you want it. Pick tracks from the songs page. The Twitch write-up is the longer version of this same rule: copyright free music for Twitch.

Copyright free music for Kick is the livestream grant on the license, used the same way as any other live creator show. Open on the track, talk with the track off, bring it back for a break or a quiet highlight. Do not leave a playlist running for six hours and call the webcam enough. A face in the corner of a music stream is still a music stream.

Put the license URL in the channel About section once. If you credit, add the song title when that song is the one playing. Kick viewers do not get a YouTube description under the player. The About panel is the place the credit survives the stream.

A muted VOD or a takedown notice is a platform action. Arctaholic does not run Kick’s tools and will not be the one who filed against a licensed show. Email the VOD URL and the track name to arctaholic@gmail.com. Twitch publishes a clear DMCA FAQ about notices that hit licensed music. Kick’s buttons are not Twitch’s buttons. The habit is the same: read who sent the notice, then write the catalog, then decide.

Playing the same show on a second stage, a bar, or a watch party in a venue is not the Kick permission. Ask first if the sound leaves the stream and enters a room.

Do a two-minute private test if Kick lets you, or a short unlisted run, and play the chorus once. Confirm the hotkey cuts the track before you speak. Confirm the About panel shows the license URL on a second device, not only on the machine you stream from. Then go live. When you end, open the VOD the next morning rather than at the end of a long night. If a stretch is muted, that timestamp and the VOD URL go in the email with the track name. Do not delete the VOD first. A deleted VOD is harder to describe, and the mute is the evidence.

Questions

Is Kick named in the license?

The license says livestreams, and Kick is one. You do not need the brand name printed for the permission to apply.

Can I play the stream in a bar?

No. A public venue is not a creator stream. Email arctaholic@gmail.com before any room-of-people use.
