Copyright free music for TikTok

Copyright free music for TikTok, under this license, means the track is in a video you edit and post. The license includes TikTok. Credit is optional. Put the credit line in the caption if you want it.

TikTok’s sounds are a different license

The in-app sound library is TikTok’s deal with those rights holders, not this one. Those sounds can be pulled, and a business account often cannot use the same sounds a personal account can. A sound you pulled inside TikTok is also a weak thing to cross-post to YouTube.

An Arctaholic track is the opposite shape: you place the recording in the edit, then post that video. The same file may go to Reels and YouTube. See multiple platforms.

Ads and brand deals

An organic TikTok is covered, including one that earns from the creator fund or similar in-app rewards. A paid ad, a spark ad, or a commercial you were hired to run as advertising is not covered until you have a written yes. That rule is copyright free music for ads.

These songs are vocal. They suit a hype clip or a montage, not a whispered tutorial. Trim to the hook. Do not re-upload the song with a static image.

Copyright free music for TikTok should be in the file you upload, not only in TikTok’s sound picker. The in-app sound is TikTok’s deal. It can be removed, a business account may not be allowed to use it, and the same sound is a weak thing to move onto YouTube. Export the video with the Arctaholic recording already mixed, then upload that file. The original audio on TikTok will be yours.

The license covers the organic post, including a post that earns inside TikTok’s creator programs. It does not cover a spark ad, a paid boost, or a commercial you were hired to run as an advertisement. If a brand says “we’ll put paid behind it,” that is a new question. Email arctaholic@gmail.com before they do.

Cut to the hook. TikTok will not wait for an eight-bar intro. Start on the lyric and the picture together, the same way a Short should. Do not post the song with a still and captions of the whole verse. That is a music upload. Your clip has to be the point.

If TikTok mutes the audio, do not immediately swap in a commercial sound to “fix” it. Email the video URL and the track name. A mute is a filter. A commercial sound is a different owner. YouTube’s claim help is the clearest public description of how automated claims behave, even though TikTok’s screen looks different.

Export the finished file and play it on the phone you will post from, with TikTok closed. You are checking your mix, not TikTok’s sound library. If the vocal is late or buried, fix the editor file and export again. Upload that file. On the post screen, do not add a second sound from the picker on top. Two soundtracks is how a licensed track gets paired with one you do not control. If the posted clip is muted, copy the share link and the track name into the email. Do not replace the audio with a trending sound and leave the muted original up as a duplicate.

Questions

Can I lip-sync someone else’s viral sound instead?

Only if that sound’s owner allows it. This page does not grant that. It grants Arctaholic recordings.

Will TikTok mute the video?

Arctaholic will not file against a licensed post. A platform filter can still flag audio. If that happens, email the video URL and the track name to arctaholic@gmail.com.
