Copyright free music for Instagram Reels
Copyright free music for Instagram Reels should be in the file you upload. In-app music stickers are a poor file to cross-post.

Copyright free music for Instagram Reels is allowed when the Reel is your video and the audio is an Arctaholic track. The license names Instagram. Monetized creator features do not remove the permission. Credit is optional, in the caption, using the credit line.
Use the recording, not the sticker
Instagram’s music sticker is licensed for Instagram, on Instagram’s terms. Those terms change, and that audio often is not yours to move onto YouTube or TikTok. If the Reel needs to live in more than one place, put the Arctaholic recording in the edit before you upload. The cross-post rule is multiple platforms.
A Reel that is only the song, with a still image or the lyrics on screen, is not allowed. Your photos, your clips, your story. See photo montages and lyric videos.
Vocal rap fits a transformation, a trip cut, or a gym set. It fits a talking tutorial badly. Read music under a voiceover before you bury the vocal.
Copyright free music for Instagram Reels that you also post elsewhere
Copyright free music for Instagram Reels stays portable only if you skip the music sticker. The sticker is licensed for Instagram, on Instagram’s terms, and those terms are a poor guide for a YouTube upload of the same pictures. Edit the Reel in your editor, mix the Arctaholic track there, and upload the finished file. Then you can post that same file to Shorts and TikTok without carrying a sticker you do not control.
Caption credit is optional. If you add it, use the song title and a link, not a row of hashtags in place of the title. Hashtags do not tell the next creator which recording you used. The credit line is one block. It does not need to be burned into the picture.
A Reel of your photos, cut to the bars, is a montage and it is allowed. A Reel that is one photo and the whole song is a music upload and it is not. The photo montage guide draws that line with examples. Read it before you hold a single frame for three minutes.
Business-account organic posts are covered. Ads are not. The U.S. Copyright Office fair use FAQ is the reason “it was only fifteen seconds” does not clear a song you do not have a license for. This song you do have a license for, and the license still excludes ads.
Make the Reel in the editor, then save the file to the camera roll, then upload from the roll. That order skips the music sticker. Play the camera-roll file with the phone speakers on. The vocal should be obvious in the first second. If you need a caption, name the place or the action, not the whole lyric. After it is up, post the same file to Shorts if you want the cross-post. Do not download the Reel back out of Instagram and call that the master. The app may have swapped or muted audio. Your export is the master. The email, if you need one, uses the Reel URL and the track name.
